Pregnant Gypsy Rose Blanchard Shares Glimpse at Her Baby in 20-Week Ultrasound

Gypsy Rose Blanchard's pregnancy is going "beautifully."
Nearly two months after announcing that she and boyfriend Ken Urker are expecting their first child together, the Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star shared an ultrasound to celebrate her latest pregnancy milestone. The 33-year-old had previously announced that she was expecting a daughter.
"Our sweet baby girl," Gypsy captioned the Sept. 3 joint Instagram post with Ken. "For our 20 week ultrasound."
The black-and-white image features a close-up of the baby's head and arms. Gypsy added that "she is growing and measuring beautifully."
After posting the photo, Gypsy replied to some commenters who picked up on other personal details from the text on the ultrasound printout.
In response to one user who pointed out that "her last name [is listed as] Alcida" and "she didn't added [sic] Blanchard to it," she clarified that Alcida is her middle name and "it's pronounced AL C Da."
Gypsy also revealed that she's been feeling her baby girl's "little kicks," noting that "it is a remarkable feeling."
She also pointed out a sweet connection she has to the hospital where the ultrasound was produced after someone remarked that Ochsner St. Anne Hospital in her home state of Louisiana is "the best."
To this, Gypsy replied, "I was born at St. Anne as well."
Gypsy initially announced her pregnancy in a July 9 YouTube video, sharing that she's expected to give birth in January 2025.
The exciting news came three months after Gypsy filed for divorce from estranged husband Ryan Anderson and subsequently rekindled her romance with Ken, her ex-fiancé. Gypsy and Ken were previously in a two-year relationship while she served time in prison for her role in the 2015 murder of her abusive mother, Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard.
In spite of her complex relationship with her own mother, Gypsy is looking forward to becoming a mom and creating new memories with her baby girl.
"I have so much to focus on, making sure that I'm healthy for this baby," she said in a July 12 interview with Good Morning America. "There’s this tiny little life that is inside of you and that little tiny life is a baby, a little tiny human that’s yours and that you have to make sure you protect, you love, you take care of, and all of the things that I wished I could’ve had when I was little. All the things that I wanted in a mother, I’m going to give to this baby."
Gypsy also went on to address concerns from the public over her impending motherhood and aserted her belief that she's ready for this exciting new chapter.
"I understand that with my past, there's gonna be a lot of people that kind of question if I even should be a mother or even have children in my care," she said. "I know that I'm not perfect. I know that I have made mistakes in the past. And I will probably make minor mistakes going forward."
Gypsy added, "But at the same time, I do know right from wrong. And learning from past mistakes is a growth that comes with time."
